01 Bring your samples

.docx, .txt or .md, several at once. Files are read in this browser by the Studio's file reader and never uploaded. Word paragraphs stay paragraphs.
Practice samples are illustrative, written for this tool. They show how it behaves; they are not a test set.

Sample-size labels and the "varies widely" thresholds are provisional heuristics for reading this page, not validated statistical boundaries.

every included sample; short ones marked04 Does it sound like you?
one tested voice match · then feature by featureA new passage
Something you drafted, or a model's draft. It gets a voice match against your fingerprint, a list of what pulls it away from you, and every feature against your samples' range. It is not added to the profile.
05 Your voice card
only what you endorse goes on itSuggested instructions
Written from your patterns as tendencies, not quotas. Each starts undecided. Endorse, edit, or reject it. A frequent habit isn't automatically a wanted one.
Your own instructions
Anything the numbers can't see. These go on the card as written.
Example passages
Up to three passages that show the voice. Suggested examples come in several kinds, each with the rule that picked it. They illustrate; they don't define you. You can also select any text from a sample, or paste your own.

06 Your Voice DNA
one prompt for any writing modelWhat goes in
Your card's endorsed instructions, your measured rhythm and punctuation, your small-word fingerprint, your example passages, and a keep-out list of common model habits you never use. Paste it into a project's instructions or the top of a chat.
The loop
- Paste the Voice DNA into your model and ask for the scene.
- Bring the draft to step 04. Read the voice match and what pulls it away.
- Copy the revision prompt, send it back, and check the revision.
- Keep what reads like you. Edit the rest by hand; the last pass is always yours.
Models follow a description loosely. Example passages move a model furthest, which is why the check exists: it tells you how loosely.
Keep your work
Optional. Saves samples, decisions and the card in this browser's local storage. Unencrypted: anyone using this browser profile can read it. Nothing is sent anywhere.
House rules for this instrument: it measures patterns in the writing you give it and checks drafts against your own samples. The voice match is the one combined number. It was tested on 13 published writers and 4 model families, and its measured accuracy is shown beside every result. It is not a quality score, not proof of who wrote something, and not an AI-writing detector. The other thresholds are provisional. Your text stays in this browser.
